my family is looking to coming back to LI. My son Thomas is in his 2nd yr of pre-k and is doing well. He has recently become verbal. Next year in his school they will be doing inclusion and playtime for typical interaction. They do a cirriculicum that is called The commpetant learner modal. and It has helped a great deal. I really would like some guidence in schools and what they are like on lI and what the defferences are. I am afraid that thomas would go to kindergarden in NY but he wouldn't in Pa. The cut off is Sept30th.I also was wondering what districks offer the best s ervices. i am also looking to get Thomas in a typical pre-K. thanks for any help anyone may have.
